Haha thanks man! Glad we got to rest a day and a half before doing the drive again at least because the dealer ran into a loooooot of financing issues (and he ended up paying all cash after 8 hours)

I wanted to go to St Lewis sooooo bad, but we're going toll dodging so it looks like we're back through KC. If we get the chance will hit you up for sure though, thanks for the offer!

I still need to see that damn truck of yours in person sometime soon

57 south through Illinois and then cut through Arkansas - which is beautiful this time of year - and then across east Texas. I can meet you in Mount Vernon, Illinois for a meal as I live near Carlyle Lake, Illinois which is pretty much in the middle between Mount Vernon and St. Louis.

Either way, hope you have a safe trip.

Yeah we did, there are a ton of places to camp in Sam Houston. We were near (1-2 miles away) from the Stubblefield recreation area. Lots of mud and puddles to splash through around there. :mudding:

Kick ass. I need some of this in my life. Got to find some water and then I think a trip in the heat won't be so bad

How are you running the wires for the alley lights? I'm thinking down the back of the roof weather stripping and then in the rear window gasket down to some split loom running down the back of the cab. Then under the cab zip tied to some factory wiring. Just need to find a good spot to route into the engine bay.

@sarsaparilla do you still have your driver's side front fender flare?

Mines got a gouge in it from when my dumbass was taking off the mud flaps

Interested in it, if you still got it.

I was contemplating it too, but i think im going to just bite the bullet and have it done. I got a quote from a shop up in NE Austin they said 10-14 days and $275 for black if its bare metal.

Howdy! Never ended up wiring them up. If/when I do, I think I'll just run them alongside my front light, along the windshield and into the engine bay. Don't think the harnesses that I have would loop all the way around the cab without being extended.

I had some stuff done for the 40 at Highpoint in Liberty Hill. Good prices, quick turnaround.
