Yeah, that's what she has, a Polestar. I make fun of her that she's a pole star (she did take pole dancing lessons) but then that obviously digresses into that she's a star at smoking the pole...

Anyways, the car, yes it's great fun. Really awesome to drive. My last experience with a Volvo was my step fathers Cross Country wagon which was so unbearably slow it felt like I was dragging an anchor all the time. So this S60 was a surprise.

I bought an XC70 a while back with the intention of fixing its issues and keeping it, but the AWD had every possible flaw and I got sick of working on it quick so I sold it. I actually liked the engine in that. It wasn't fast, but it gave the illusion of being fast. Probably because it made nearly all of its torque off idle. The seats were fantastic, too.

Seems that way with all of their products, too. I have a trucker friend who told me his favorite trucks are Volvos by a huge margin.

They've never made a bad car, but they were getting stale. When I was in charleston in march seemed like all the rich white folk had the new body of the full size SUV. Looked good

I really like the "Thor's Hammer" headlights on the newer ones.

Nice to see another Dave here in the group. Congrats on the new truck. Stay away from the 3rd gen forum though. Whole lot of bitching and moaning in there for people with brand new trucks IMHO

Nice I believe the sons or family of Tasca are big customer for ours. They have a gtr they race and we service it for them. We also picked up our focus rs from them. First one in the north east.
