I am out for a few days and everything goes to hell and back.......People showing their CACs, arguing, appletini orgies.....Dirty bastards....

I am in Indy so I won't be at the meet sadly. Before I left I did install these bitches

    20170505_185155REDACTED.jpg 20170505_185200REDACTED.jpg

I also installed the very difficult bed mat...whew pain in the ass. If you look closely you can see some sexiness in the tailgate reflection.

I need to spray down my bedside reinforcements again and then install those as well.

Thanks. I will definitely have to look into it then. For $100 though, I may look into seeing if I can fashion something up myself.

For all you TRD Sports and SR5...Are you lifted or level and if so how much. What tire size are you running, how is your ride and mileage. Just looking at some of your personal opinions, what would you do differently etc.

Might be easier to explain what your options of interest are with your ride.

I am just curious what people are running. How they are liking it.

I am looking at level vs 3'' lift.

Got ya, many look at some lift for additional ground clearance as with more lift you can get bigger tires. Bigger tires gives you some elevation off of the terrain. This is of course at the cost of lesser MPG, but capability and clearance over things can improve. Also, having an inch higher can be a big deal on certain obstacles.

I think it comes down to this, do you plan to drive yours off road and push the truck in its current configuration? If so, you might want to see what options are out there. If not, then unless the look factor is greater than your need for more economical MPG then I would keep it as is. You don't need lift to add character to your ride!

Considering you are a black ride to begin with, I would consider Matte gray if you want it to stick out. If you like the murdered look then stick to black. I have matte gray TRD fakelocks on mine with it being Barcelona red, but the gray works very well actually for me.

I got the 2014 DCSB TRD sport and I went with Billy's on all 4 corners, OME 885x up front with wheelers hd progressive 3leaf AAL in rear. I run cooper st max 255/80/17 with 1.25 bora spacers and I love it.

If I were to do it again I would have went with dakars in rear with extended length to start. Longer break lines and ubolt flip.

But other than that for my needs it is great.

Yeah man I am Gonna go matte grey or MGM when I do my rims. Although that burnt bronze from SCS is sick. I tried black and it just drowned out unless you get the right rims. Love those ones though but rims are my last mod I have happy with my plastidipped MGM ones for now.

Even with just better tires these trucks are great Offroad and like @Coot83 said even a few inches can make a huge difference on obstacles. Even my basic starter lift has done everything and more Offroad that i need.

How much are you looking to spend and what do you want out of it is the real question? And also understand as you go through this process and start the modding things can change and ideas can form and options are endless lol! That's why we are all here! You can check mine out sometime man during lunch and see for yourself.
