It seems this was asked a few times looking at searches...but do you have any customers with this on mid/high rise shells? Looking into getting a shell soon and I have always wanted one of these racks to get some additional storage on top and free up the bed of gear that doesn't need to be readily accessed. I don't have any particular shell in mind yet so whatever works, let me know.

He will get to you, he is just one guy handling all of this. Be patient, It will pay off. A few weeks is insignificant to the life you will get out of a rack.

Hey man I get it, its your cash. If your not happy you have all the right to cancel your order. Is it the best order experience waiting weeks beyond you expected? No, I agree. Im 3 weeks in and I fully expect to be waiting multiple more, just don't think there is any sense complaining about it when it is very well noted that the wait times haven't been accurate in the past based on previous postings. If your not happy cancel it, that simple.

I feel you. I do think to sustain business in the future there will have to be changes to manufacturing process with multiple employees... But for now all we can do is wait.

Just cancel and grab something from harbor freight or auto anything. Proprietary stuff takes time when it's being made by a one man band.

i just installed my rack with the wind deflector positioned on its lowest mounting points closest to the windshield. I also have a 40" rigid lightbar mounted behind it. I took it out for a test drive and at around 70mph I began to experience an incredible vibration so bad that my rear view mirrow was shaking and I couldnt see anything out of it.. Any thoughts? Zack forgot to send me the weatherstripping that goes underneath the wind deflector.. as soon as it gets here I will install it.. hopefully that will solve my problem.... anyone else he experience something similar?

It can be against FTC regulations to collect and settle funds for an eCommerce transaction and not provide accurate order completion estimates and frequent communications with reasonable expectations and changes to delivery times. https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/bus...s-guide-ftcs-mail-internet-or-telephone-order

ie. you can't settle funds from someone's credit card for an online purchase and not respond via email about the status of the transaction or any changes to lead times outside of the stated website 4 week messaging

I'm sure if someone reported him to the FTC it would speed up all of the open orders.... :bananadead:

I waited for about 6 weeks and it is all worth the wait. Received the package from Zach last Friday and completed the install last weekend. It is worth to wait and worth every penny. Strong but light so not much weight to put on the roof. That's the quality that I'm expecting from a US custom handmade rack!

    Thank you Zach! :oldglory:

I was less than thrilled about the represented versus actual lead time as well ... 4 versus 8 weeks, but the rack is awesome and I'm glad I stuck it out. One thing that I ran into during install that I haven't read about on here was one of the factory threads being crossed in the roof of my double cab. I emailed Zach, he suggested trying to re-tap it using an M6 - worked perfectly.

Exactly, I completely understand being a one man show (I am myself with my business) however communication is important and in the case with Prinsu - severely lacking. I've sent messages on here and Facebook as well as calling last night during the business hours posted on facebook and it went right to voicemail. Hopefully Zach will chime in soon and tell us all what's going on..

EDIT: Apparently some time between last night and today the website has been changed from 4 weeks lead-time to 6-8 weeks...

What lights are those one the side? Also do they make any noise sticking out like that?

I have a pair if 20" above the front doors.

They're crazy loud, and I take them off if I'm not wheeling/camping.

last time i talked to him which was the other day, he was just getting a pile of them assembled and ready for shipping. I'd holdfast for a bit or send him off an email to see where the order stands.

They are Grote 63611 led work lights. They don't make any noise at all literally no difference with or without them. They have a great pattern for working around the truck and for night driving in the woods and on back roads. They have a good warranty and are bright AF.

I ordered my rack on April 25, 2017. I emailed him about my trip out of the country in 3 weeks and he made it happen for me. Today I got it in about 2 weeks. He is a nice guy and very considerate.

Product is solid and was delivered with no problem by UPS. I am not sure if he still supplies anchor points, but mine came with none. Any body know what I can use from Home Depot?
