i've done several headlights just reusing the sealant...as long as you let warm up in a 300 preheated oven (but TURNED OFF!!!) for 10 min, there is no reason the OEM sealant needs to be replaced.

^ I got more OEM Sealant because I don't want to ever open these bad boys up again. Better safe than sorry. I'd like to do it right the first time.

You don't need to get it but I personally will.

I'm not going to cut corners on this and I'll take my time with it.

Where did you get the stuff from, the dealership or online? I think I might end up doing the same as I don't want to have to do this twice due to the headlights leaking.

Yes, I've ton a ton and used the 3M window sealant or GE Silicon II. Both work amazing.

However, I'm going all out on this and spending a lot. I'm goign to splurge and make it look OEM with extra OEM Sealant. I got it from the Nissan Dealership. toyota doesn't sell it.

i heard aquarium stuff is good to use..i just used the stuff over again, no problems here, not like you lose any goop or anything, still the same amount. plus you don't want to make it bomb proof, chances are you'll need to open them again to fix a mistake/add/remove something

^ Once I'm ready to close them. I don't plan to open them. The reason why I got more Sealant was when you remove it. It moves around from the original location and its not the same. So I use more in certain locations. Its not like I'm over doing it.

I got the part # from the Nissan site and went into my local Nissan Dealership and ordered. Came out to like around $23. I used some of it and still have some left. I will keep it for future BHLM.
