Okay - my goal is to do this:

    http://www.instructables.com/id/ElectroLuminescent-Bumper-Sticker/

    in my Taco.

To do this, I need to find a 12v wire to tap into. I'm looking for a wire that comes on ONLY when the key is turned, and in case you can't already tell, I have little to no experience behind dashboards.

I'm comfortable soldering, but my work has been in computers, not in cars. Anyone got any advice about what wire to tap into?

    Thanks :)

Camper top with racks, Custom fogs behind lower bumper. Interior LED lighting, Rock Lights, Hella 500s with upraged bulbs behind black billet grill, AAL, Front 5100s
You could tap into most things that are 12v and comes on when the key goes to ACC. That doesn't seem to use almost any power so it shouldn't really affect much. Might be worth tapping into something like your rear running lights that will only come on at night to extend the life of the "sticker".

Good suggestion. Now for the million-dollar question - where is that wire?
