It's the ones that you do know that can be extremely tough to tolerate.

This little guy might have round worm. Took a poop sample to the vet today. She said she'll get back with us tomorrow. Any pointers? First pup in years.

Tony's got hookworm right now and we're fighting that. Is your pup feeling alright, or is he vomiting/diarrhea/loss of appetite?

Ok. I hold him on my chest and he puts his nose on my chin. I'll keep him away until he's better. Thanks

Seems perfectly fine. Eating habits are good. No vomiting or diarrhea.

A little update. Doug, the dark one is settling in since his rescue the day he was to be put down. He is still showing some anxiety, craves attention and needs to be near people, but has found a friend in our dog. They are within 5 feet of each other all the time, except at bed time. He's a sweetheart and a very kind old man. He has a possible cancerous growth on his penis that is being removed this week (growth, not the penis), but health seems ok otherwise. His hind quarters were weak when we got him last week and he lacked balance, but in just a week he has made a lot of progress and can now negotiate some stairs and stand up without wobbling. Lets keep our fingers crossed for a good outcome. Here's a shot of him and his new pack buddy after a rousing round of rope tug
