I like it and the D-ring complements it. Truly one of a kind!

The underside of your truck is so clean! Hard to keep mine clean when I live on a ranch. Jealous haha

I think if you search for "BHLM" there's a good tutorial. But I basically put them in the oven for 10-15min @350° to soften the glue, pry the 2 lenses apart and then paint. To re seal, I heated them up again to soften the glue, put it back together and done! Just in case, I used RTV silicone AND gas can sealant to make sure no moisture ever got in.

It's been a couple months so I'd search for the tutorial.

No photos, but I've put on matte black bedside stickers, hitch D-ring, and black tailgate letters. I know it's small, but I'm making it mine, slowly but surely.

One of the guys I work with called the body shop that he has had a lot of dealings with. They came to the office and checked peoples cars and is going to email the quotes to us. Rough estimate on mine was over $12K. New hood, roof, left fender, fix doors on left side, fix left bedside, fix right fender. The other 4 panels will not get re-painted. Not happy with this. Once my adjuster comes out I will go to a really high end detail shop that does paintless dent repair. The insurance company will total my wife's Honda. I will take the money and keep her car. I know that there is not another BBP Tacoma just like mine. And yes, it does look like it was on a driving range. My friends said "now that it has it's first ding, let's go wheeling!" Umm, still "no."

Took my truck in for the first service:
    • Completed the 5,000 mile service including rotating tires and checking fluids
    • Had them grease the driveshaft, grease the u-joints, and retorque the u-bolts as a precautionary measure since these have been deficient from the factory for a lot of people
    • Had them complete the H0G safety recall check for the potential rear differential leak, mine wasn't leaking so they just retorqued the bolts
    • After they continually refused, eventually had them complete the available Entune radio update, see T-SB-0103-16 Rev1 - page 5 - the firmware update available for my truck is "13TDANNA-DA11_0137.kwi". If you have any glitchy radio issues or Bluetooth syncing issues, this is your fix.
    • After they continually refused, eventually they verified that my truck already had the most current transmission TSB done from the factory and an update isn't available so the poor transmission performance is what it is, see T-SB-0077-16 Rev 1 - page 3 - the Rev1 calibration ID that was already on the truck is "896650401300". If your truck is a newer 2017 like mine, it's likely that you already have the TSB done as well. Unfortunately there isn't another update available at this time.
    • They completely refused to do a physical check of the automatic transmission fluid to verify if it is low which has been a reoccurring issue for a lot of people. They did make an interesting comment that there actually is a recall out for the low transmission fluid. They didn't provide me any information about it but said my VIN wasn't a part of it so they would not do the work unless I paid for it. I don't have any clunking or delays going into reverse which is where you'd see the issue first but I wanted to have it checked for peace of mind. If you have any delays going into reverse, definitely take it to the dealership since there's a high probability that it it is low
For reference, I have a 2017 TRD Sport Double Cab Short Bed 4x4 V6 Auto (7542) in blazing blue pearl purchased in Brevard county, Florida on December 22, 2016. My truck was manufactured in the Texas, USA plant in December 2016.

This is what I did yesterday... Put just over 600kms on it bringing it home from the dealership. Removed the aproach angle killer. Washed, clayed, and waxed it and dipped (derped) all my emblems anthracite grey. Also had the General Grabber X3's installed by the dealer before delivery. They are 265/70R17 on stock suspension with no rubbing of course.

First time posting pictures. I hope this works. Sorry if these photos are massive. My Mac wouldn't let me resize them on photobucket for some reason, even following the guide.

Got it installed and the color matched pretty well for how old the cap is! Glad I could save @FlyFishVA (Robert) and his wife about 80 miles of driving and the Extra time to go directly to pick up the cap up in Mcdonald PA! It was a pleasure to meet you @FlyFishVA, you and your wife are super nice and your puppy is adorable!

Found a CL ad for a 2016 Toyota Sienna that was re-ended and being parted out. Grabbed its mirror with homelink buttons for $40. Plug and play just needed to do the compass calibration. No more garage door openers on my sun visor!
