For all you guys that have an automatic TRD Offroad or TRD Pro, and really hate your 3.91 gear ratio, jump up to the gear ratio toyota should have put on your truck to begin with. Get the power you deserve with 4.30 gears

As title states 4.30 gears from my TRD sport 4x4 manual, these gears will work on all off road and pro models with the 8.75" diff. $500 shipped, Local pickup at las vegas preferred.

 

What did you swap to? I am contemplating a gear swap except I had it done with my 4runner...most expensive mod I had done, so not sure I want to go through that with this truck. The 4.30 isn't too bad, even with the 285 tires (4runner we a 3.88 or something like that)

 

I went to 4.88s, yeah it was expensive but worth it.

No, i bought my gears from justdifferentials.com but these will be useful for someone with a 2016 offroad or pro automatic that just want a little more power

 

I want to make sure. Are the 3rd gens running a different axle setup?

 

Like the 1st post states this works in pro and off road models. Otherwise only a TRD manual comes in the higher ratio with the same differential.

 

And these ring and pinions cost over 1500 from toyota

 

well I have 2nd gens, I was thinking of a cool deal.

 

Front diff is the same as second gen but rear diff is bigger than second gen

 

Will these work in my SR manual? I think so? Anyone know?

Couldn't see it on the brochure but I found a thread that shows all sizes for each model, and yes it will work on your SR Manual.
