Great, get a link to a group buy for LR UCAs and now @fatfurious2 has me shopping to piecemeal a Fox suspension kit.

Met Corey @moe2o4 up in Uniontown, PA to pick up my cap. I think it looks pretty good, and will serve me even better. Corey has a pretty sick truck too.

 

OH I PM'd him already. I'm not leaving my hi-lift attached. Just wanted to post a quick pic.

 

Apparently some years involve grinding to do an AAL so yesterday took me a lot longer than planned. Sorry I missed y'all last night.

Gained 1.5" in the rear, as well as leveled out the rear. My old Leaf pack was apparently sagging on the driver side.

Thanks. I have a quarter inch spacer coming in to level out the driver side lean in the front. Didn't manage to get the shocks done yesterday in the rear because I can't find a 5mm wrench to save my life.

 

Top plate spacer?

 

Yep. The driver side is sitting 1/2" lower than the passenger so I'm just going to throw that on top to even it out.

 

I'm not sure I have anything that small, but can take a look this afternoon when I get home. I think most of my metric tools start around 10mm.

 

also what did you need a 5mm for? I don't remember needing one for anything.

 

i usually pull the boot down and use a pair of channel locks or vise grips to hold the stem of the shock. or you can cut the nut off the top. that spot on the stem of the shock usually rounds your truck looks newer so may not be a issue

 

To hold the stud on the shocks from spinning.

 

You dont need that. Just use vise grips. Or you might need to cut them off

 

Ohhhhh yeah that little pos. I ended up rounding mine off with a set of vise grips when i did mine. Ended up using the method @DOUBLLD mentioned above on one of them, and had to cut the shock off on the other one cause it was so FUBAR.

 

Yeah I tried with my vice grips yesterday and it wasn't having it. I hit it with some PB Blaster and didn't have it in me to work at it long last night. I'll probably try again today. Keep in mind I'm replacing this with a new pair of the same thing so I'm still going to need to be able to hold it.

 

@Me. Projekt what did you use, since you just took these off yours?
