Ok quick question. I'm getting ready to redo my rear suspension to get rid of the stock springs and AAL. I'm looking at the Allpro expedition standard springs. They come with bushings and have the anti-squeak pads already installed. But you can't add/remove springs to adjust the height. I know the Dakars are good but by the time you get pads installed and buy bushings they are just as expensive as the Allpro.

    Anyone have any input.

I'm actually heading down with family to meet other family in Virginia Beach the week before the beach. But maybe grab a beer down in OBX?

Weive gone every year for a long time and I've eaten just about everywhere. I found I enjoy going to seafood stores and just getting a bunch of fresh stuff and cooking at the house. You can do a lowcountry boil its easy and feeds alot. You can google it but you can make your own changes to it. Don't put fish in it it falls apart

So I hopped on the Amazon, UPS, Fedex, and USPS websites to check the tracking for all of the things I recently purchased for my truck ... and it took 15 minutes to get all of my updates.

Nice. I see you have have a 92 GLI. I had a 91 GTI 16vyears ago with cams and a ported head along with 5 other VWs. It only ran half the time I owned it, but it was fantastic to drive.

Hmm...Pep Boys website doesn't list the jack at all (they still show the handle holder and base plate). https://www.pepboys.com/search/?term=hi-lift

Maybe we bought 'em all up? Trying to find some in stock at my local Pep Boys...

That's what I'm finding. Looks like they've pulled the jacks completely from their site.

Awesome! I remember when that was the banner pic!
    Why can't you add/remove springs?
