Before Prinsu, I had a 50" light bar on dedicated bracket. Man, that was insanely noisy. I now have a solid, no cutout prinsu and it's NOT NOISY, compare to what I had to put up with.

Yeah I've heard that is very noisy. I hope I dont regret getting the cutout. I plan to put a single row lightbar, anybody else have this and can report on noise at speed?

I have a single row 40" rigid in my prinsu with a cut out. I ran it without a light for a while and with it now for a week or 2 and you can definitely hear some wind noise. I usually have my radio on and so the knob on the left has been helpful :)

So, serious talk, worth it for the Rigid?

Id agree with this statement for me as well. I "hear" some wind noise, but it isnt very loud or something that makes me notice it...

The SR40 is 14900 lumens @ 24 watts and less than 15amps. Its the single brightest light ive ever had. I havent had much offroad usage yet, but I do call the light bar "The Eye of Ra" because its HELLA bright. I got it on a great GB earlier so it was totally worth the price for me

All I run on my truck is rigid. I've had other brands of light bars, and to me nothing compares. Quality, brightness, customer service, all spot on.

I get that, I like buying quality products too. But I have an RTIC cooler because it costs half the price of the Yeti and does the same job. I have a 30" lightbar in my grill that I installed the week I got the truck and it is crazy bright, and no moisture or condensation at all. Cost me 60 bucks, I could buy 10 of them for the price of 1 Rigid. Nothing against Rigid, just seems like you are kinda buying a name.

I bought them for the resell value, the performance, and the support if I ever need it from Rigid. And this: https://youtu.be/EXMzkh-NzJk

I understand. I've also never paid full price for my lights. Most of them are Craigslist or eBay snipes. Got my 40" hyper spot for $300

Nothing to scare about, it is a great product and yes it might take some times to wait but once you receive the product you will understand that, and fall in love with it right after. Remember the instruction manual is located at their website, it will not comes with the box. All you need is patience :)

They are extremely strong racks. Yes, you can stand on them if you distribute your weight, and I've had up to 5 ~50-60 lb whitewater boats on mine with no issues whatsoever.

I've been a big fan of my morimoto bar since it's sold and warrantied by TRS who has incredible customer service. Also saved some cash. I would never run an Amazon bar on my truck though. Not worth having to replace when it breaks. I like to save money, but also like warranties so TRS was the perfect medium for me.

And it is bright as hell

Cutoff is weird because it is way far back and under my current roof rack.

I don't know if I am just deaf or ignorant to the wind noise, but I have the 40" heretic bar with no noise. I have no foam up there either. I was doing 85 on the highway last week in my truck for 3 hours and noticed nothing.

    :notsure:
