they fit on to the lugs perfectly.. but there was a little lip that wouldnt let the rim sit all the way in so that the lugs wouldnt poke thru the holes.. the hell is up with that? whats that lip called? and what does this mean in terms of what kind of rims i can put on my 'Coma??

    It's called hub centric.

And 22" on a 4x4? Really? This is the trucks way of telling you, No...please don't do this to me. ^HA! We thought the same thing!

It is the trucks last ditch effort to tell you that it doesnt want gay a#$ stuff on it. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a 4x4. If you want to put them on it I will trade you my Street Queen and you can put them on that.

    You asked!

No, but honestly I don't feel comfortable owning an 07 4x4 too, knowing you want to put 22's on it.

People might think we're related in some way...

Damage something? With the right wheels, no, not really.

You just shouldn't ever put 22s on a truck for any reason. Ever. At all.

I'm glad the taco is resisting. It knows better, listen to it.

22's on a 4x4 Taco? That's gayer than Elton John blowing a unicorn. :D I've seen 22's on much larger 4x4s with much, much larger lifts than are possible with the Taco and it looks OK. But...they can fit a lot bigger tires on it so it doesn't look donk-tacular. If you go through with this, expect a lot of people to ask you about Avon Barksdale and Stringer Bell.

I understand the fact that you can nudge someone into the right direction, but constantly bashing on them? Come on now guys.

But to the the OP, not many people like blingy wheels on their 4x4 trucks. But if you like it. I say go for it.
Other than that, let these kind people reccomend you some nice wheels. :)

I do agree with all of the stuff above, but I would have been a little nicer about it:D. There is never a good reason to put 22s on a 4x4. But at least you're learning.
