I'm able to fit a Glock 22 in my center console as well, with a console vault.
Before installing the console vault I lined the inside with self adhesive foam and felt. No clunking around inside.

 

I am a habitual "put it in the cart and then save-for-later indefinitely" Amazon shopper...

I'm a big Bill Murray fan as well, although I think Lost in Translation was a great Bill Murray performance in an otherwise mediocre movie.

Given much thought to the foam cans? Significantly less money

 

Actually for the rears I was thinking some kind of rubber or something that would mount in the cans. I highly doubt I will ever even touch the bumstops, if I do then I can slide in a bump stop since the cans will already be there

ouch those are $250 for two? I was going to make something, but if I spend that much then hydro from Fox are about $350 a pair
