Just curious if anyone had been able to fit a 2013 or newer Polaris Scrambler in the bed of a DCSB with out building a ramp/rack? Meaning do the front tires just ride up on the wheel wells without issue?

The Polaris is 48.6" wide and I can't find out if that's based off the rear or front.

I had an 08 Polaris Scrambler and it fit in bed of my 08 DC/SB. It would ride up on wheel wells but wheels would stick out past tailgate. I would use 4 straps and crisscross them on frame.

Buy a trailer. I loaded my Polaris in my F150 twice. Sold the ramps and bought a trailer. I also loaded it in my Sporttrac once. I cannot see loading one in a Tacoma. I bought the trailer primarily for ease of loading the ATV but I also need the room in my bed when I am hauling it.

Meaning the wheels were on the gate?

I have one but want to make this trip as fast as possible since it's a 4hr drive and I'll be leaving from work and have limited parking

Yes wheels were on tailgate but back end of tire was off edge of tail gate. But measuring center of wheel it was still on gate. I used over kill on straps just because Im careful like that. crisscross straps on frame front and back (so 4 straps) plus another strap on back of wheels horizontally sucking it in, just incase one failed. She never moved. This was before I had a trailer. I have since sold the trailer and the scrambler and upgraded to RZR. Just take it slower when loading up ramps.

checking out the specs depending on your exact model and if you have add ons like bumpers it may vary.

the 08' says wheel base is 48" so center.

the 13' says wheel base is 53" so slightly longer but you maybe ok. I think I had a bumper bar on front of mine and can't remember if that was stock or I added it since had it for several years. To bad I don't have pic of it in bed of the truck for reference.

Here is pic of my 08 scrambler I sold just a month ago.

New toy is 16' 900 RZR XC

I still have my kawi KFX 400 and that still fits in the bed of the truck with tailgate down. Again I strap it in same as I did with scrambler which is bit overkill but don't want to take chance. Good luck!

I was debating this or a Raptor 700 since I like sport quads. I had a deal fall through and finally talked into a smarter choice since my whole group of rider friends have 4x4's. One has a Can Am xxc renegade 850. It's essentially the same thing as this. A sport 4x4.
