Yes to both! it has a locking rear differential and a 3.4l V6! it also came with a locking toolbox already attached to the bed and fresh off-road tires already on it, a CB radio and two tow hitches. One in the front bumper and one in the back! it also has a trailer brake thing installed on it. it is on the driver side. im not sure on how to use it yet but it did come with a lot of goodies.

Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
I paid $16,900 with 92k miles for a 2003 SR5 ext cab,v6, 4WD, 5 speed DLX. I definitely paid on the high end but it hasn't given me any problems and I've already thrown 40k miles on it in 2-1/2 years. Absolutely love the truck! I'd do it all over again. It was rather that or $35k for a brand new truck

Dude you got a good one. They're not making any more of them. I fell in love with the first gen tacomas a long time ago. I'm almost envious!

Wow. What a find. And probably never saw a dirt road. That's basically a 6-yo car, mileage-wise.

    I think it's a fair price, but

The one thing I don't get about TW. If this question came up at a different time of the week people would be screaming that this is a $6500 truck and not a dollar more and the seller better throw in (4) new BFG A/Ts, a Yeti cooler full of beer, a pizza and have his wife come vacuum the pool and pick up the dog crap while wearing hot pants.

No ones saying that. You'd have to be high out of your mind to sell a 1st gen DC TRD 4wd for $6500 w/ minimal rust.

True. On a dealer lot, I'd expect to see something around $14-15k. Pretty crazy. I paid $12k for mine, and that was "boyfriend pricing." That was three years ago.

I know what you mean. I'd love to paint my truck a metallic sky blue. I think that would look really good.

Anything sub $15k is decent for these trucks. I paid $14k two years ago. Xtra cab 4x4 TRD with 110k

I think that's a solid deal, def not too much

The nutty part is I just saw a dry and stock 2004 DC TRD 4WD sell for $7900 at a local dealer with 180k. It was gone in less than a week. These trucks arent worth crap here in Nodak rust free or not.
