Like others have said. Get 6 tons. Your life depends on it and they're taller. And get some 4 tons to rest your axles on. And some 2 tons for the other stuff.

Dude, that looks sick!!! I wouldn't bother with the 285s unless you're really into off roading. The hit on MPG alone is a huge turn off of 285s

I really wanted a shell with the extended height. I don't think they look as good but, like she always tells me, the extra 6" makes all the difference.

ericd I debated that with myself for the longest time.
I think it would be worth it if you had a trailer or if you planned on making the camper a livable space.

For me i like the look of the mid rise better and the fact that it was on Craigslist had me pull the trigger on it.

Yeah I stole a standard height color matched shell for $450 off of craigslist. I like the look but it makes it hard to put in any kind of storage and still be able to sleep in the bed.

Did the diff breather relocation behind the tail light. I spent more time at the parts counter than doing the mod.

On a side note, my dealership has ARB recovery kits CHEAPER than any place I found online. $239!

Nice! And I thought I'd never say that about a pic of a man touching his tip.
