    If the tires still have that minor shake after this balancing, I'm going to just run them on the trail and use the Procomp tires on the street.

    I ordered them from Camelback Toyota. They are expensive if you buy OEM. Some guys have also used Moog which is a lot cheaper.

    Dana... Actually they don't. It's just a more precise balance using resistance against the wheel basically like it's on the ground under weight. Their laser balance is more accurate and the weights are more tight to the balancing.

    I read an article about the road force balancing about how the machine will let the tech know if the wheel has to be rotated on the wheel to get it properly balanced. If the tech has to do that for a particular bad unbalanced wheel, they need to charge a little more for breaking the bead and rotating the tire on the wheel.

    stuff...
    Even for regular spin balancing, they are supposed to rotate the tire on the wheel depending on where the machine tells the tech to place the weights. Some guys are just lazy, and will keep adding weights all over just to get the machine to zero out. Some even have weights on opposite sides of the wheel, 180 degrees off....

    I'm pretty sure all the tire shops here count as "lazy". I've actually never had an unbalanced tire before. Only now using the dynabeads in the Iroks. The dynabeads are coming out to see if that was the problem.

    How many ounces did you use per tire? I haven't tried beads yet. I was planning on taking off the stacked wheel weights (weights stuck on top of other weights) I have on the inside of the wheel and try some heavy airsoft BBs I bought.
    I wonder if it is possible that your tire just takes more weight to balance after being worn down a little?

    I actually used 2 more oz per tire than recommended. I got them back today and they are smooth, no vibes whatsoever.

    That's great, did you notice how much wheel weights they had to use? Also I'm left wondering if it was more or less than the dybabeads.

    It was way less. I had 10 oz of beads in each tire. By just glancing at the wheel weights, I would say the most that is on one tire is about 5-6 oz.
