Has anyone removed their transfer case themselves and can give a step by step guide to doing so? I've been looking on the YouTube and a lot of people have special tools to lower it and I'm wondering if it can be done without the need of anything crazy like.

So I guess what I'm asking is to let me know what tools you used and the process that you did to remove it. I'm going to need to replace a bearing inside there.

Basic hand tools and common sense. Use a floor jack, a thick piece of plywood and a ratchet strap to lower it.

Send me a message if you don't get a answer by tomorrow and I'll get you the procedure from Toyota at work.

Yes if you could post it for myself and others to reference from that would be helpful.

    Thank you

Toyota tells you to do it the pain in the ass way, know you can get it out without dropping the trans.
