not when fully built. you still need a rtt, and you cant fit shit in the back. and all the custom shit to make a few things fit is super expensive. My dcsb is huge in the cab area and all my shit is in the bed not stuffed all around me...

im talking true expo, not throw a bunch of ground tents and a stove in the back

All of those statements are true
My Tacoma isn't done and would never be "done" just like all of our trucks we never finish them
Project truck being a break down money pit is funny because well it's called a PROJECT and my Tacoma had left me on the side of the road more times then either of my fords have combined
4runner to expo how is it less useful?
I also never said I was doing it cause the Tacoma was too expensive
    That's just my thought
And you are correct I'm gonna do what makes me happy so no need to pick on me just because you're jealous of my bumper

True expo has nothing to do with RTT's, its how much titanium gear you own.

No need for a roof rack. This was a serious consideration with my wife's old 2005 runner.

    IMG_8093.PNG.jpg

Hinge at the front instead, of course. Can't stand in the back with this setup.

Bought a Montero to practice on and was going to sell that project, after the popup, to fund the 4Runner build. But this was the real goal (as of 7 years ago).

    IMG_8094.PNG.jpg

This Tacoma screwed up my master plan. In a good way.

There was an article on Expo regarding indications of an overlander (parody of the Jeff Foxworthy redneck thing). One of them was "Titanium spork, cast iron skillet."

titanium gear and fuel. Those expo cruisers have 50 gallon spare tanks, I would be siphoning a lot just to hang with them.
