Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

If you are making a day out of it Galveston is nice. Plenty to do. Shops on the strand, Moody Gardens (think the aquarium part is closed till the end of the month), Pleasure Pier, the beach from the seawall section isn't that great but it's there. I like San Luis pass for camping/hanging out on the beach which is the west end of Galveston (google maps will get you there.) As far as Surfside goes, the water is nicer but it has been too long since I have been there to recommend much. Anywhere along the Gulf Coast east of the Mississippi River all the way to down to South Padre Island can be turd brown water if the weather is right/wrong, the further south you go the cleaner it looks. I'm guessing for a date you won't do much more than put toes in the sand. If you are trying to do a nice restaurant and beach in the same day, those mentioned may not be open for lunch, probably worth checking into. My 2¢.

Nfab is gay. They literally make the same bumper for every model of truck. They are boring as fuck plus they don't have any spot for a winch
