That's exactly what it is. I ground about 1/16 off of the caliper hoping it would be enough but it's not and I'm not willing to grind anymore.

Should be just fine. That is what @Madjik_Man is running exactly. Shell and all.

Yeah i ground mine down. Worked good enough. On hard turns the wheels still rub..pretty nuts to think about how much the wheel is deforming to do that....

I upgraded my headlights on my truck. My upgraded halogen when out after two years. Grrr. So I went LED. Yes I have a little hill getting out of my drive way, but so far I like them. I had to cut the shroud on the dust cover off because of the heatsink but other than that easy install. And yes I know about needing projectors for proper light placement

Monte @Blackdawg can answer better about the 881s up front with the 2.7.

I have 881s up front with the 3.4 and it's perfect.

I also have the Dakars, no AAL, in back with a topper and it too is fine.

The whole suspension is a little on the stiff side with no weight in the truck but it's a dream on and off road with weight.

Which is what I was trying to accomplish.

Also of note: I have no armor other than sliders which is a minimal effect on front/rear suspension performance.

I don't know what your rig is set up with.

Thanks man, will do. I have HIDs before on my mustang (RIP) first time getting LED head lights so far I really enjoyed not having to run all the extra wires and ballast. Light output is great. I'll find someplace dark and flat to take a better picture.

should be about right. That's my setup
With the 2.7. Details in build. I certainly don't think you need anything more than the 881 spring up front. My ride height is about where I want it with with 4x4, ifs skid, trans skid, bumper, and sliders. Of course you can get away with a little more lift not having to worry about cv's.

    Good luck.

I need a good LED recommendation, I had some nice ones that got replaced under warranty once already but the second pot eventually went out too. Hard to go back to halogen lol

After 60k and lots of added weight I had 1.5" of lift from stock on 881. It was 2.5" when I first put them on.

Can anybody please direct me to the brackets that you mount the headlights to on the 01-04 style? Im converting to 01-04 from 98-00 and having a hard time tracking down the brackets that mount to the core support. One is metal on the outer side of the headlight and 1 is plastic on the inner side. Last pieces I need to start my conversion.

I can already tell mine sit lower since the armor went on, but I'm marking that as a win. Cvs look much happier now

Is there a cut off line built into these? So they work correctly in the halogen housings? Can you get a pic on a wall or garage door at around 20 feet away? Be awesome if they started building some type of cutoff but I don't know how it'd work with full reflector housings.
And if you knowingly are running em without a cutoff line and blinding tf out of oncoming drivers.... Well... I dunno. I hope you stub your pinky toe twice in the same day.

I don't have any weight up front. So I'm hoping I'll be fine. I don't want to have to get new UCA's until I want to. That's all.

Good to know! I'm hoping for around that much lift because I want a little rake so that when I put in all my camping gear it's level rather than sagging.

Anyone ever do Ford Raptor style grille lights? I like the look of them.

Oh and since I'm in California where all pickup trucks are required to be registered as Commercial Vehicles, you're technically supposed to have Amber running lights somewhere on the vehicle. Don't know if it applies though.

That is one of the differences between steel and cast alloy wheels. Where the steel ones flex or even bend, the cast ones will break before bending and flex a whole lot less.
