That was exactly what I was looking for! I use the Verizon Hum device and this will allow me to have both hooked up.

In order to comply with modern safety criteria and engineering-design practice, it is always a good idea to include a visual as well as audible indicator for operation of any device of this type. I think once you drive it you will find that it is not very intrusive at all, and should be hardly noticeable for the most part.

It's hardly noticeable. The seat belt chime is 10x as loud.

It has not been mentioned that ECT use disables the ShiftSense. It has been stated that moving it to D or performing a manual shift in S would disable it.

We have tested it in ECT mode, and No, nothing bad happens. The ShiftSense still operates as intended with its programmed shift-maps. Since the OE shift maps are indexed up somewhat in ECT, you would notice a bit more overlap and the truck might make some more downshifts on its own, or hold out a bit longer on some upshifts than when the Shiftsense commands it, but only in the upper portion of the throttle range.

Personal opinion here, but when I pull a trailer, I have resorted to using this instead of ECT because my truck still shifts up to 6 while in ECT, and I dont normally want that. I also like to have it holding 4th gear on grades a bit more than ECT does.

My only concern with this item is the lack of an on-board port to connect to a computer to update firmware. @dcz108 : You've stated in earlier pages that if there ever is a firmware upgrade (indicated likely doubtful), that customers would end up needing to mail the unit back to you. Realistically, that's really not sustainable for longevity of a product and overall good use of manpower. The Support vs. Sales/Manufacturing balance would become skewed to support.

You may want to reconsider the possibility of a future firmware update happening, and possibly come out with a second version that empowers the customer more on maintaining the product for its life.

That said, I will likely buy the product as-is. I need to wait some to re-pad my bank account after finally getting my truck yesterday. :D

Finally got a chance to drive it. Definitely works as advertised. I also have the Sprint booster installed. Gears definitely hold and doesn't shift too early. I'm playing with different modes on the Sprint booster to get it exactly the way I want it.

I also tried it with the Sprint booster off definitely smooth and shifts when you expect it to.

Need more time with it than the quick 30 minute drive I took.

I like that the V3 sprint booster can also lock out the pedal . Nice anti theft mode . That's what convinced me to buy . Snappier throttle also must be nice .

Can you please share with us exactly what the gauge cluster does when it goes through shifting, i.e.; does it go through the numbers along with "S" like it does if you manually shift the automatic? Still don't want to hear the beep..... Thanks!

There is no beep on gear change. The screen will show the shift but can be disabled in the settings menu for the screen. Its pretty awesome so far. I got mine installed but havent had a chance to get it on any stretch of road. So far from 0-45MPH, 1-4th gear, the truck is in the power band, feels slightly more responsive due to being in the power band, but honestly, I am waiting to provide my full review. I would like to test my normal city driving and my normal highway driving. I will be all over this weekend and so will post my results in a day or 2.

Ok... so has anyone used a Y splitter and had any issues w/ enough power to run two devices? Just wondering if that could be an issue if I try to run my Verizon Hum device along w/ this. I really want to use it, but wanted to check that first.
