    This is some random pic, so hopefully this helps. In the lower right hand corner you can see the yellow circle. That's where I had the small d ring installed. The screw and hole were hidden behind the sunglass holder. I'll still look for pics when I get home but hopefully this helps.

    The only way I could think of to attach it to the mirror is by typing some paracord around the mirror base, than clipping it to that rope. This looks better IMO.

    It's a noose type string that loops around the circle on the back of the hand set.

    Nope! And if you need to, you can choke up on the string so it's shorter. In those pics it's the longest it can be.
