    Anyone have experience with the Vortex Strike Eagle or Athlon Argos BTR 1-4? Trying to decide between the 2 for my 16in AR. Also looking for suggestions on a mount. Put a Burris PEPR on a buddies AR-10 I built for him and he seems to like it but he doesn't have many rounds through it.

    I would highly recommend the vortex. My buddy has a strike eagle on his ar and it's awesome. Plus vortex has an unconditional lifetime warranty and it's literally that. His old ar burned up in a truck fire and vortex sent a brand new scope and gave him a scope mount too for free.

    I own a few vortex scopes and have always been a fan of them, especially with their nice military discount. I kind of wanted to try out the Athlon since I've been hearing good things but I'm leaning back towards the vortex as well. The reticle will take some getting used to but at least I know the quality is guaranteed.

    Just ordered a Vortex Strike Eagle for my AR10 build. I'm anxious to try it out. I was really wanting a Trijicon Accupower 1-8 but at the end of my build funds are low. My plan is to try the Vortex save up for the Trijicon and move the Vortex to one of my AR 15s

    Normally I would agree 100%. I just am not ready to bite the bullet and wait on paperwork for the SBR conversion. I just never have been a fan of the pistol style. Weird I know..Maybe when I have extra spare cash lying around.

    I added 2 more and it went up $3 more dollars in shipping. So probably not as much but you'd have to order about 10-15+ at least to actually start cutting a decent deal seems.

    For 20 to me, it says $24.04 which would be $9.20 per mag which still isn't terrible so IDK.
