nah. just gonna replace them. Easy to do. And i should have replaced them when i rebuilt them a while back anyways. Particularity on one.

no Monday is. Have to work tomorrow at graduation too. Drive to powell tomorrow afternoon. Take Devin to her new job on Monday, come back to Sheridan for final paper work. Move out the rest of the week.

Nah, not my house. Renting a basement. Got a lot of my stuff wet though. Worried about some of my audio gear. Think the gardener did it on accident.

No plumbers till Monday i guess. No sure what caused it. only took an hour and half from when i left to when i got a call from the land lady about it.

 

yeah, Mixing console box is soaked, one of my speakers got hit too. So did my mirophones(biggest worry).

think it'll be okay if they dry out good.

 

I'd have her get u some writing stating they will be replaced. Any metal or electrical part that gets wet and still works when dried will have a guaranteed shorter life span due to corrosion. Seen it with 100 computers and phones.

 

eh. the console is ancient tech. can't be replaced anyways. Im looking at replacing it anyways. My more valuable componets(my mic preamp rack, AD converter, Word Clock, Summing mixer) are fine. didn't get wet at all. Two of my mic boxes got wet but they are cheaper mics i bought forever ago and not great anyways.

Not worth pursuing. Wasn't her fault anyways.

Everything else(my computers, sub, amp) have feet and didn't get wet anywhere critical.

 

I doubt the landlord would agree to replace anything anyways unless the lease agreement states otherwise. That's what renter's insurance is for.

 

Yeah and I didn't even sign anything is no agreement. Last two places I've lived were just on a hand shake and a check.

True. If I was somewhere back home or similar to where you're at I'd probably do the same.

Here in Vegas, however, people will try to screw you over any way they can. I've had to have the garage door, dishwasher, and dryer fixed, as well as get oil stains removed from the driveway because of HOA in the past 8 months that I've lived here. All paid for by the landlord thankfully.

it was tiny as fuck. Beautiful drive out there though. Great feel, as I expected. I'm just young and social and couldn't live there. I need more humans lol

@joshipps have you drive the FS299 road off red grade? just west of Park Reservoir? I've been told its pretty rough and fun. Similar to Boulder Basin.

 

@Blackdawg do you by any chance remember what part you cleaned and sprayed with lubricating oil when you replaced your door handle? About to replace mine.
