Love your truck. I was thinking about the Thule racks for my kayak. Can you put them on when you need them and easily take them off? Or are they "permanently" attached?

Sweet, thanks brotha! I seen one similar to yours on this site https://www.bpfabricating.com/colle...cts/bpf-2016-tacoma-grill?variant=16608416004 on there's it's $710. If you don't mind me asking, how much did yours run you?

Hey no problem, and wow $710! That seems a little high, it looks like there's includes the painted piece around the bezel as well which is probably the extra cost. I paid just over $400 (but its probably been close to a year now) which included the mesh with letters installed and a painted black bezzel. Matt sends instructions and it isn't very hard to do at all

Edit:adding a link to someone on Reddit who plasti dipped his grill, but its a nice little tutorial to what you have to remove and how to http://imgur.com/a/Z70DI credit to /U/wlburks on Reddit (not sure if he/she on TW)

    Thanks Tinsu,
as for the racks, you can release them from the mounts by unlocking the posts. This will leave the bed mounts attached the the bed, but the adjustable posts and crossbeam just slides out. Another reason why I purchased them.
Thule includes locks at the bottom of the posts so not just any lay person can steal them.

Billy's all around set at 1.75 up front. Icon progressive aal w/o overload on the back. Little rubbing when off road but I haven't trimmed yet.

I would have to look up the details on the wheels. I don't know it off the top of my head.

Considering putting the overload back in after i added weight with the Avid Off Road tire rack and spare.

Love the SSO bumper. It gives me everything I need, recovery points and place for a winch, still maintains the overall look. Install was easy, hardest part was cuting the bumper on a 6 month old truck.

I thought I read somewhere that someone was able to install a Slimline bumper without cutting the truck? I'm sure this is impossible, and I misread?

Love the look of these bumpers but just can't bring myself to cut the truck. Wish I had the gene that would allow me to do this

Every slimline I looked into required cutting, some more than others. I did not remove my bumper to cut it. The instructions s tell you to remove it but I read about people cutting it on the truck and used that method.

I wonder what the cost is for a new OEM bumper if you ever wanted to reverse it?

I never planned on reversing it. Figured if I cut it would stay that way for as long as I own the truck. I would also guess in the 1-2k range though if I ever wanted to reverse it.
