Good to know. I've been reading some ppl are having bug issues with the PC version like freezing and unresponsive controls. Anyone run into that?

The PC version has a few problems with PunkBuster right now. It kicks people on some servers, but I am sure EA will probably fix it soon. I beleive its a server side problem because once you find a good server the problem never happens. The controls have been fine for me and no crashing. Graphics are great and the sound is AMAZING. I think the sound on this game is better than any game I have ever played.

Cool. May be I'll pick it up. I do want to see what DirectX10 looks like now that I can finally use it.

I had all kinds of server issues yesterday when I tried playing. Kept getting kicked due to punkbuster, then losing connection to the EA servers as well. The graphics and gameplay is awesome on this game. Sound is awesome as well.

One question I have though for all the pc guys, do you think just upgrading the video card will make it run smoother for me? Current setup:

    AMD4400+
    2 gb RAM
    2x7800gt

I'm thinking I'll need to replace all of these to run the game better, but my budget doesn't include pc hardware right now lol. I'll just be adding an new card 8800gt next weekend.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
i was gonna do the campaign...but didn't. i jumped head first into the online play, which is somewhat alien to a COD player. been having a tough time, but am getting adjusted. i was 26-3 in a squad deathmatch yesterday. things started going my way once i unlocked the SCAR. still having some trouble figuring out the "perks" and weapons combinations. i have some issues with the game, but nothing that will keep me from playing it.

lots and lots of camping goes on in this game. i keep waiting to track down a sniper and find him in a sleeping bag, cooking up some beans and hotdogs :D the "killcam" does not really show you the location of the campers either like it does on COD. the more i play this game, the more i like it. the destruction you can unleash with a Bradley or Abrams is fantastic...i have as much fun tearing stuff up as i do killing the other players. can't wait to try the UAV. their version has weapons and is controllable from the ground.

my take on the game overall is that with teamwork and a few decent players, you should dominate opponents. what's needed are a couple snipers to mark targets/call mortars, couple of good tank/vehicle operators and 3-4 ground pounders operating as a team. going "lone wolf" only works well if you are sniping, or if you are very adept as using cover/positioning as an attack/engineer class. the defibulator is a cool option for the medics. if they are close enough when you get killed they can revive you with a quick zap. they can also dispense health and ammo i think.

i'm getting better, and the better i get, the more fun the game is.

the game is a blast. probably the best mp so far that I have played online. way better imo than MW2 that I played for quite some time. well, to the 3rd prestige I guess.
