Yeah they teach you a lot of helpful stuff. I worked with them doing recovery and spotting line on the trails so we didn't destroy a million dollars worth of jeeps and I learned sooooo much. The teach a lot about how to drive so you don't need to use recovery equipment and the teach you how to properly use all the recovery equipment so you don't burn out winches or tear things up

Im sure I could probably use some of that experience as I could see me burning up a winch if Im being honest.

I'm assuming the $600/day is for a group. Might not be bad if you could get a good size group together depending on the group size limit.

Awww.... come on now. Do it. :D

While that may be more than I could comfortably afford I have no doubt it's worth every dime

Y'all should read their website before judging because there is apparently a lot that has gone into this including providing different terrain and off road scenarios. It really appears to be a unique experience

Seriously though, by the looks of it the terrain there could be good learning as I havnt been to any rocky places yet like Rausch and the like. Driving is one thing, but I havnt had the need to be that critical with line choice yet.

Line choice is over rated. Mo' skinny pedal will get you wherever you need to go.

They have a course here in Orange, VA at my house (me, my step dad, and step brother actually built their training building and courses for them).one in North Carolina in the national forest there. and then one in Connecticut where the company was founded. The one here at my house is more mud, steep grades, rocks, and tight technical driving in heavily wooded areas. Not quite sure about the other but I do know the one in North Carolina is the biggest training center.

You'd be surprised at the places I got a '93 XJ Cherokee on 33's to go with creative use of the skinny pedal.

It looks like a fantastic program. I thought it said desert courses also. must not be at y'all's place. Maybe someday I can take the overlanding course or one of the others. I still have a few mods to do.

Oh I have absolute confidence your crazy ass probably hit it head on. Now take your "beater jeep" as you called it out of the equation and factor in your much more exspensive Tacoma and woudn't choosing better lines help in getting you to the same end result while greatly reducing the chances of breaking shit on sometthing you dd and something that has to get you home from where you are?
