    checking in with 250k. it still runs strong and smooth. i have some front end components where the rubber boots have dry rotted and will be replaced soon. replaced brakes because previous owner was dumb. easiest vehicle i have ever worked on.

    I had an 98 tacoma with 253K when i sold it, needed new shocks but the trans, engine, and 4x4 system was still perfect.

    my 88 toy 4x4 rotted out at 190k engine and drive train was fine
    my 99 taco EC LB 2.7 was bought out from frame rot at around 180k
    My 09 Taco CCLB 4x4 4.0 has 171k on it
