    Camped out at Marshall lake and hoping to check out the overland expo tomorrow. We're definitely more " glampers" but still managed to find secluded place to drop the trailer...And get hardcore on a medium sized rock lol. Also using the winch to secure Gunner... or newly adopted min pin lol.[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]


    Beer and mastodon... for now..

    Looking forward to coming up there Sunday. Is there usually a Toyota get together up there, or just general socialization? My wife and I usually drive up Saturday's, but we have a prior engagement tomorrow. I might need to make more formal plans to make a weekend of it next year. Lord H., nice truck! I have the same color. '17, DC OR, 4x4, TRD Exhaust, roof rack. Wish I had the tonneau cover. What camper is that? We have an older 15'. The weight dist hitch just came in this week.

    Hey guys I'm down from Colorado for the expo, and we had some truck trouble. The dealership fixed the tacoma enough to drive. (2wd only for now) anyway are there any good camp spots left not at the expo? I didn't come here to stay in a hotel haha.

    Not at the expo? Basically the whole forest around the expo is fair game :anonymous:

    You can 100% find a secluded spot even with all the graduation & expo traffic

    Awesome thats good to hear! I've never been down to flagstaff and a friend told me we would have a spot lined up in the vendor area, but that fell through for me. I was told it would be hard to find a spot but I guess they just meant at the expo. Thanks!

    It's a Jayco 195rb Baja. Tows great with the Taco. It's got plenty of ground clearance as well for pulling around the rough roads.

    Well, it's on to day 3 for us and having a great time. Well be at the HQ tent until about 12 and the participating in as many classes as possible.

    I would really like to do some wheeling after the event if anyone il else is interested and knows some local trails. We are even debating of going to the Grand Canyon to camp tonight since we are so close. Let me know if anyone is interested.

    I'm from Flagstaff, the food is not up to Flagstaff standards in my book.
    Ambiance: Yes, Flg approved.
    Overall culinary experience. No.
