    09. That was the first year to have any "major" changes done to the 2nd gen. Second update was '12

Haha. I need to learn me some proper fishing. I've got a little 4 pc 6'6" medium action Shakespeare Ugly Stik and some random tackle that I used out in New Mexico, but it's basically all man made lakes/ponds and the Rio (not so) Grande. I just picked up a 7' medium action Shakespeare Ugly Stik but haven't been able to take it out yet. I was supposed to go out with some guys a couple of weeks ago up in Occoquan, but I didn't make it out.

Yeah. I figured it was 09 or 12 but wasn't sure when they put the switches in under the heater controls.

Did they give you an estimate on lead time when you ordered?

09 they added switches to under the ac controls, aux input, mp3 capabilities to the cd player, led tail lights and the auto lsd function while taking away the mechanical lsd from the trd sport. In essence rendering the trd sport merely a cosmetic upgrade package with color matched mirrors, rear bumper and grill surround plus fancy seats. All of which was included WITH the mechanical lsd from 05 to 08.

If you want to go sometime I usually end up out on the lake by myself or just with the dog. But I have yet to have much luck in Lake Anna. I was planning on going out tomorrow afternoon for a shakedown run and scouting some coves and dropping some pins on the fish finder to check out at a later time. But it looks like I'm going to be rained out.

About 8-10 weeks. Which is getting close. I paid 3/2 so we're at about 9 weeks. I also got in with the slider group buy, so I told him if that slowed it up, I understood. I'm really not in a super big hurry for them.

Let me know when you head to lake anna. I'm 3 mins from the southern finger. Go kayak fishing a decent amount. Had decent luck crappie and brim fishing. My buddy has hooked a few bass and catfish though.

Sounds good to me. We'll have to figure something out. I've got community service for a speeding ticket all day tomorrow, and I'm heading to WV next Saturday to go white water rafting with a group. If Sunday is nice and my buddy doesn't need help replacing the alternator in his MR2, then I'm thinking I'll try to get the sliders on my truck and install the ditch lights that were delivered today.

Hmm that may not work then. They are saying it may take 4 weeks from Hi-Lift and that will be after all the slots are filled and paid for which may take a couple weeks

Will do. I usually put in at Duke's Creek, but now that Pleasant's Landing is back open I might look at starting to put in there since it's closer to me.

Yeah man. Sounds like me. Stuff to do, more stuff to do, then put parts on the truck.

    Ah. Yeah, might not then.

But if you are wanting to get in on the GB maybe we can do a single shipment to save on the price or depending on when they are ready I normally go up to visit family in Baltimore and could grab yours as well.

Haha. Yeah. If you ever feel like heading this way, the Potomac is less than 1/4 mile from my front door. I can see it if I walk out to the road. There's the town pier, but it's usually full, or you can fish from the beach from 6-10 in the morning and evening. I also see people fishing behind the seafood restaurant on the way into/out of town.

I'd love for there to bea meet at the beach either there or Nags head but that sure seems like something you'd have to plan well in advance.

I used to go down there pretty regularly to the track on Friday nights. Been quite a while though. We did go down one time when the croaker were running and fished the rocks over by the marina and filled a 5 gallon bucket in less than an hour.
