Did anyone get anything in the mail from Toyota Corp after they bought a new truck?

Also, I really liked my sales guy but he didn't last long with me on the price negotiatons because I had to deal with the closer. I was told by the initial sales guy to look for an e-mail customer satisfaction survey regarding how good of a job he did. I never got this e-mail but I wanted to make sure he got credit. He was a big help to me navigating 700 cars on the lot and which of the 10 or 12 trucks best fit my needs.

Let me know if new car buyers are supposed to get some sort of welcome packet/paper work stuff from Toyota. I'm not sure how to reach out to Toyota about my sales guy either.

Only thing I got was some kind of Dealer Survey. Way back when I bought my 2000 Tacoma, Toyota sent a nice packet of stuff including a VCR Tape showing how to Off Road and use all the features in the Truck, gonna have to search around and see if I still have that tape laying around.

If you have that I'd be happy to turn it into a digital file, because that is plain cool.

I even have the software to upscale it correctly and take out the VHS audio and picture wobble.

Sometime my local VA sends me nickels, never received a dollar in the mail that wasn't from a relative though.

It would be a little bit of a pita, but you could write a brief letter with your comments about your experience and mail it to the dealership. And if you wanted to get hold of the regional people, the dealership might be able to steer you to a website or snail mail. You could also scare the pants off 'em. "I WANT TO CONTACT CORPORATE!" "Why, sir?" "I liked my sales guy."

What happened to your salesman? He quit?
I would stay in contact with him ! My salesman gives me his discount on parts .
I got the email survey and I had nothing but good things to say as I never had a better experience in all my years at a dealership.

I didn't get sh*t. The sales guy was "OK", the business and finance guy was a complete a hole and tried to push every nickel and dime thing he could on me, tried to jack my finance rate way up and kept putting that extended warranty back into the conversation after I told him 400 times "No, I do not want the extended warranty."

Got the survey from Toyota and rated the sales guy a 9 and left a comment about how the business guy tried to screw me. Sales guy called me the next day and asked why I gave him a shitty review and now his numbers are too low for the district. Cry me a river douchebag, it took you 3 hours to close my deal even after we had agreed upon the price via email through your manager before I ever walked in, then the business guy tries to shove paint protection up my ass and sneaks it back into the paperwork with every revision of the contract, that I made him redo because he just assumed I wouldn't notice he stuck me with a 5% interest rate. You gotta watch those guys super close, they will toss in a couple hundred bucks here and there and hope you don't notice or just breeze past it in a half assed explanation. Made him do the whole contract from scratch in front of me using the interest rate I gave him from a local bank that I found on Google while sitting in his office and he still tried to sneak in the warranty and paint protection until I called him on it AGAIN.

So yeah, no warm fuzzy welcome gifts from my sales guy I'm afraid. Don't think he's a fan.

I hope you tore the paperwork in front of his face before telling him to start again.
