What are your must have items if you go on a road trip. I'm going to tennessee this spring break with 15 buddies of mine. We are going in a 3 car convoy ( yes it will be a tight fit but saves gas) with my taco being the lead car ( I have the gps, cb, radar). What else should I bring for my long drive? what are your favorite items to have on long road trips? I know i will bring at least 2 bags of beef jerky, and a bag of doritos.. cool ranch!:D

X2 on the short wave hand helds. Those are worth their weight in gold on trips like that. Yeah you have your cell phones, but the don't always work in the middle of bumfucknowhere... And your signal varies bc you have verizon and your buddy has sprint...etc etc.

First road trip I ever pulled in my Taco, went to Ocala to work for a freinds construction clean up crew on a Saturday. Spent that Friday after going to school out with a couple friends, got home @ 2 am, showered, went to the gas station @ 3am and bought 3 cans of monster, was on the road at around 3:30am, showed up and worked from 9am to about 6pm, then drove to Daytona, then drove back from Daytona @ 3am. Finally got to sleep that Sunday for about 5 hours before driving back to Jacksonville.... It was during Spring Break so Daytona was insane! That was a hell of a weekend.

My suggestion, energy drinks, and lots of music. if you're in a convoy, CB's or walkie talkies.
