Day off.. woke up at 7

 

Same here. Went to the gym. All gloomy outside.

 

Rain here! So that's limiting my playing time with the truck.

 

Same...I have bed and good lights I need to install, fog lights, and drain hoses for the bed.

Debating on if I want to buy tires and put my new rims on. Figure out lift suspension later.

 

Lets go to Peters Mill for a shakedown run?

 

I'd recommend lifting THEN getting the tires so you know what should fit. What kind of drain hoses are you doing for the bed? Sounds interesting.

 

I'd love to but we are doing an early mother's day thing for my mom and wife today. While my wife likes hitting the trails, I don't think mom would be too happy.

 

Just some simple tubing fixed to a narrow valve. The plastic tubeing that comes with the bed covers are garbage. So gonna grab something better from Home Depot. Run it to the side instead of the floor. Put some RTV in the back. Nothing fancy. I have a pic somewhere of what it should look like. I also need to trim the lock mechanism for the cover. Sticks a bit far out.

 

Booo! Jk. Happy Mother's Day. My mom just wants to hang out tomorrow since I haven't seen them in a while. But they live in Leesburg

Driving down to Chapel Hill for my cousin's graduation from UNC. Well, I'm not driving, my old man is.

Truck is at my buddy's shop in Gainesville. I dropped it off yesterday at 5 pm and he said it wouldn't be done until later this morning. Then he called me at 10 last night and said it was done. I would've driven down separately with my brother if I had known it would've been ready.

 

Whatcha getting done to it?

 

Just brakes and rotors - nothing exciting. Hoping to put my spacer lift on next week. Unless I come across a killer deal on a better lift between now and then.

 

Also, I'm trying to convince my mom to buy a new 4Runner. She was all about it she says she wants a Tundra now. Nothing wrong with that.
