    But if you don't want to replace that often something like an st maxx would be great!

    I get the feeling no one believes us or this thread wouldve blown up. A 33" tire stock? No one can possibly believe that.

    Shop around for the tires.

    Anyways, got on some trails for a bit today and bounced around. Combo of mud holes, bedrock crawling, and creek crossings. Not like moab level flexing but the suspension was articulating pretty well. Never felt a rub, and checked often for marks on the inside of the wheel well, nothing. I'm sold. Here's some more pictures

    I really like this setup. Only issue for me is that all the tires I've seen in this size are more aggressive/heavier than I want. I'd like a tire just a but more off-road worthy than the stock tires which isn't available. Basically I need to go to a 255/70-17 to get a slight increase in tire diameter and still have the tire options I want.

    Can you measure the actual width of the tire at say the front. Just want to compare width to my stock OR tires. They don't look any narrower than those really. Not a super fan of skinny tires, but if they are the same as what I've got... then it's cool.

    That's a really fair point. Id love if Cooper made the stt pro in this size. I'm sure the Maxx is a fine tire, I just think the stt pro is my favorite tire in terms of looks. It's definitely a little compromise to get the mud tires, but they tear up the trails!

    Well your thread might not be blowing up but I'm sure there are plenty of guys like myself watching closely. I wonder how much A-arm eccentric adjustment for alignment plays into this for clearance from vehicle to vehicle. There is a line in the steel on the door just below the Tacoma emblem and swoops down and ends into the fender trim. Hooking a tape measure on the fender trim at that point and measuring to hub center I'm getting within a whisker of 22 7/8 on both sides on my stock DCOR with no lift. If either of you guys get a chance would you mind sharing your numbers? And thank you for testing this out Sandy and Jibbs.

    In all seriousness, I just made this thread to hopefully help people out that are on the fence. More data points are better, especially for tire stuff, IMO. It's a big investment to jump on based on only a few comments
