Just wondering if anyone from Canada has ordered either the Hi Rise Crossbars or Bed Rack from @KB Voodoo recently and what the duty payments would look like on either of these? Already getting railed by the exchange rates, don't wanna get railed again on duty payments!

We ship via USPS, so I think that eliminates any duty, correct?

There is no duty, it's made in the US. Expect to get charged regular tax though...

Yeah I'm finding conflicting posts on other websites and forums. Some say I'll be fine and some say I'll have to pay duty. Usually deal with DHL or FedEx with packages from the US, sometimes I get charged and sometimes I don't!

I'm fine with the tax though, I'd have to pay it anyways on anything I'd buy here.

Just waiting to sell my SUV so I'll be buying my new Tacoma in a few weeks, just trying to get everything all lined up in the meantime

What lengths did you have them cut your bars to? I have a quote from them for a 20' bar right now.

So ive scanned through a good bit of this thread, but thought i would just ask for a better answer.

Ive got the extang encore folding cover on my 17 long bed.

Does anyone make brackets to allow my cover to stay on and install a rack ? ( not positive which rack, likely whichever one is the most versatile). Opening the cover isnt a big concern.

So this option here with the sliding cargo basket under the rack.
You would have to take your tonneau cover off for this option rite ?

    Thanks again

Yep. That won't work with the cover in place unless you put the basket on top of the rack.

So it looks like these brackets mount into the rail system? The bed cover that I have, the trifold backflip, uses the rails so they are no longer accessible. Do you know of any options that will allow me to mount these racks with the backflip G2?

    Thanks

Will your system work with a backflip F1 Cover and bracket system? On a side note, I can't believe that there are no bed rack systems that allow the tri fold to clear and fold up? After reading through the forums that is an untapped market with lots of demand.

I am looking for the same type of clean attachment for the backflip F1 cover. Any potential mounting bracket for a rack system once the F1 cover is installed sits farther out in the inside of the bed and has to clear the backflip bracket and then attach to the relocated factory rail location that now sits underneath the F1 bracket but lower down. See attached pictures! I would think this would be an easy design and since the backflip covers are so clean and flush that a tall rack system with the right clip attachment should allow the cover to fold as well. Now you have the best of both worlds.
