Anyone here familiar with these types of awnings? Have been real close to pulling the trigger, will probably buy one prior to memorial day weekend. Looks like it would be a good versatile awning thats easily movable around the vehicle.

That looks like it would have been perfect for when I was using a softopper, but I now use a RTT and it wouldnt mount over it, I could still attach it but wouldnt provide all the cover right at the tailgate if that makes sense.

It's a knock off of the now discontinued Kelty CarPort. We use the Smaller Kelty CarTarp with our FlipPac and really like it.

Had about 9 members from work that wanted to do a camping/off roading trip. Camped out Friday night at Blue Jay Campground just off of Hwy 74. This morning, had some breakfast and coffee, packed up camp and wheeled the Main Divide Truck Trail. It was a wide variety of vehicles, my 2nd Gen Tacoma, a Ford Ranger, a 90 Ford big ads diesel, a Hyundai Tuscan (she scrapped bottom a few times but no damage), a 3rd Gen Sport Tacoma, and a Dodge EcoDiesel. I think the trail was about 20 miles, it was fun with a few pretty steep hills and loose rock, and absolutely beautiful views.
