nope, easily bought from spartan rope, blue ridge overland, bubba rope and many others. Im working on getting a kit with the deadman, soft shackles, snatch blocks, and a bag together in the future

Ya can't fix stupid. If someone buys this, leaves it in a bag, never looks at it or figures out how to utilize it, then does something stupid trying to use it, they probably should not have purchased it.

Would a standard soft shackle work? Or would you have to get a larger one? Difficult to tell.

    On what, exactly?

An actual pic and description on the product would do wonders.

Ropes, shovels, stakes, trees, sand, a guy crawling... WTF?!!

Haha. I'm in the same boat. Too much up build up for what it turned out to be.

Not saying it's a bad product. OP just got me hopes so high I wasn't expecting a tarp with some straps (I kid). Looks like it would work well.

Large one would certainly be easier from the looks of it.

You could always just wrap a recovery strap around your wheel.

By the sound of it these guys did plenty of R&D, but when I see the pictures I just can't help but think that it would get more pulling power if it were used in a more horizontal fashion when using as an anchor.

Sort of like one of those parachutes drag racers use for brakes, but buried in the dirt that way, if that makes sense. This way you would be pulling the anchor through the dirt vs up and out.

Obviously you would need to trench for the bottom lines, but I would think the original hole you dig would be much smaller, because your not laying it flat at the bottom.

Im not sure I understand the massive HATE that some of you have at a new product. Okay maybe you don't like the product, and that's great---to each their own. You don't need to be so pissed off at a company creating a new company.

Not sure if your referencing my post, but I think this is a potentially great product, and was one of the first backers.
