He he should have explained it very plainly that anything less than a 10 is a failing score. I thought a 9 was fair.

Usually they do. Every car we've bought we heard that story. He deserves a 9 for not taking the time to tell you.

Also I didn't get shit beyond the automated stuff that goes out.

I would refuse to do business with you. Wouldn't care about losing a sale or not if you do that chit to me.

If you worked at a dealership you most certainly would not, especially since the finance guy writes that part not the salesman. You'd have the salesman up your ass as well as the customer after you lost him a sale for not doing your job and dealing with a tough customer after you were being devious.

I assure you, had someone tried sneaking in shit that I didn't ask for into a sale contract I was part of, losing my sale would be the least of said asshole's problems.

Also, to be honest. It would be your job to find out what is going in to your sales contract.

Only a true piece of shit would attempt to justify sneaking in unwanted and unexpected costs by blaming an unsuspecting customer for not going over what's expected to be a standard sales agreement with a fine tooth comb.

After I bought the truck I kept in touch for a good month of so and made several trips up to the dealership. He was always working and I always made a point to say "hello" to him and I always mentioned the survey and the fact I havn't received it.

I plan on following up on this because he really did a good job showing us the different models. I just want to make sure he gets credit.

I have a feeling that things are stacked somewhat unfairly against a salesperson. They are the ones that make or break a sale when you think about it. From the first impression to driving off the lot. There are so many ways a deal can get derailed during the finance phase.

I'll keep everyone posted on this.

My point is that both parties need to be respectful of each other.

I got a tube of lube, that I didn't give them the chance to use on me. Trust me they tried. Well it was actually a half used tube as I put the screws to them on the survey. I rated them just like they deserved and even noted how much money they kept taking off after the multiple issues we kept running into. I didn't like how they tried to screw me and thrn tried to buy better scores on the survey. This is the 3rd truck I bought from this dealership as well.

I got the email survey, and a letter in the mail that said congrats on the new truck.

You'll get a letter soon telling you that your rear differential has been recalled and to take it back to your dealer.

    Not joking.

I got really nice Toyota key chains, and a really nice pen from my dealer.
