Simple question, what is needed to make it happen on the sport? I think I'm able to get the front coils and rear struts at a good price. What else do I need? what is a good price?

A lot of money which could likely be spent on other better suspension options. Call Marie at Headstrong offroad.

nothing, it's not much of an upgrade either.. I believe someone thought their TRD Pro suspension front and rear was worth 2500 on the marketplace.. he got flamed. lol

I'd say no more than $1500, and even then I'd pony up another $500 and get better.

I truly respect you fellows opinion, so I may just stick to original offer and not offer any more.

I would ask what you recommend but that's like asking when to change oil or what gas to use. So, I'll read more.

You're in the right mind. $1500 is about what it's worth, though personally not worth that much to me.

More than that and you're in pricing territory for better aftermarket components.

    This!!

But to answer your question OP. 13-1500. Not a penny more. Spend the money elsewhere for better options if you are above 1500. Maybe even at 1500:anonymous:

I would not pay more than 1000, the reason is for 1500 I think you can find better equipment. It is been proven on here that the pro suspension does not lift the truck any amount. I think for 1500 you could get a suspension lift that will handle great. Look into @smitty99 writeup on Bilstein 6112 front struts, 5160 rear shocks and 3 leaf progressive add a leaf.

IDK that saying the 6112 are better than the bilsteins that come on the pro.... but yes, def better equipment for the cost.

If they have like 50 miles I might would consider 1500 but even then prob not. If they have a bunch of miles price goes down significantly. With 10k I might would do 1000 but anymore miles than that and I'm not interested. At end of the day gotta consider getting Kings for 2 and change. Are the trd pros even worthwhile with those looming?

Fox comes on the pro, no lift, not Easily available if you need to replace something. They have lots of other brands, like Ikon even some other Fox kits that would you better buy in my opinion. More bang for the buck including a lift. The reason I mentioned to Bilstein 6112 is because it can provide up to 2 inches of lift, known to ride great, adjustable height, and can be had for a good price.

6112s and 5160s on the rear with a progressive 3 leaf rear AAL for 1.5" in the ass, 2" up front...level her out and keep below the need for new UCAs

Oh right on... thought bilstein makes them since the tundra pros are bilstein. Kinda switched gears a little since I got my tundra and the tacoma just sits in the garage...

agree with all this, and to answer your question, yes, the TRD Pro Fox stuff is totally great in performance and quality. i love mine and am totally happy with the setup and would purchase my truck again with the suspension being part of what I'm buying... happily.

BUT, i also agree that if i was on stock Hitachis or whatever i would not seek out the TRD kit but would go straight for higher money Fox or King setups, because I'm good with spending more to get more. then again, I'd also be happy buying a used TRD Fox kit if it was right in front of me and the price is what you outline above.
