What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

The template would be nice!

I was thinking that that was for the clutch peddle but want sure. Any pointers on the swap would be much appreciated.

 

Getting ready for shenanigans I see. I think I'll wait until after to respray the armor haha. But I will have to paint the bed bars and basket this week and maybe hilift mount.

 

I am convinced that 30K, as some suggest is way, way too soon unless you have a misfire. As you've found even 60K is too soon. I will be changing mine soon at a 90K interval so we shall see what they look like.

It's time. In that vain. Got the rack and tent back on and got all of my camp lights working again.

 

Looks good, I was stuck waiting for Mr. UPS all week so I didn't get to do any of my assembly or painting I wanted to do.

 

It was so awesome. 4.88s are great . Didnt need lockers that much. When i did, the rear did the job. Then when i felt saucy i would hit that front and boom, easy peasy. Best money i have spent

Picked up a wrecked Tacoma a few weeks back and have been replacing the items that need replacing. Finally getting it to where it can be considered post worthy. Had to replace the core support, radiator, headlights and build a bumper. Suspension update is ordered and on its way.

And yes the headlights are awesome. Huge difference over the sealed beam lights. I have the 4x6 leds adapted to my 1st gen 4Runner and I thinks these are nearly as bright as those and less than half the price without the fab work.

 

Been eyeing them for a couple years. Might have to get some.
