Yesterday was productive, sold the Icons, built a rear rack for the camper to hold a truck box I bought, cut a bunch of holes inside the camper for more storage and got the camper pulled out, plugged in and almost ready to camp!

No rock course but this was the first year and it was a great turn out. So it seems like it will be a yearly thing, and may introduce more events.

 

Was getting stuff from the ex's parent's basement. Come to find out her younger brother helped himself to $1,500 worth of paintball guns and equipment, and he went through all of my boxes, stole my zippo collection, hats, and other things. Traded or sold them for pot. Parents didn't notice that until last week when he literally tore my boxes open with his friends. Luckily my recording equipment was left untouched, but he broke some of my things while tossing through.

He's tried to convince us to sell our Xbox in the past so he could have the money. He's got some fucking issues, and some really fucking big balls to steal from me. Especially when the shit he stole had sentimental value. I collected those zippos from various vacations. Some I got in Russia, some my late grandfather had given me. It's not about the money, it's about the memories that I'll never get back. Not to mention some of the zippos were collector's edition/rare, like my 04 World Series #569/5000.

The parents offered to give me money to replace what was stolen. I'm looking around $2,000 of stuff, not including the loss of things I'll never be able to replace.

He's damn lucky he was in NY, and not there. They called him and told him to come up ASAP, but I left before he got there, because I know I would have done something I would have regretted (but thoroughly enjoyed).

Fucking day from fucking hell.

 

That sucks dude... I know the money doesn't help fix the situation but I would demand payment from the brother. That would piss me off... especially the collection, nevermind the paintball guns.

 

Well, that fucking sucks right there to say the least. I'd make that fucker fork over the money, ON THE SPOT, just to at least try and teach him a lesson. And if he didn't have the money, I'd make his parents do it, to hopefully teach them a lesson as well, since it happened at their house and they should have been on top of it. Just my 2 cents though.

 

Geeze Alex that sucks! Like others said at least take demand the money, even if it doesn't get you back the stuff that you lost at least it does not let that fucker get off scot free!

Upon his arrival at their house, he was able to produce an empty duffel bag that used to contain roughly $1,700 worth of paintball stuff. I sat down and made a list of everything.

Just face value, $1,700 of paintball stuff, roughly $450 for the zippo collection not even factoring in the rare and collectible ones, and about $200 for the hats.

The parents have said they will reimburse me.

The fuck head doesn't have two pennies to rub together. Why? CAUSE HE SOLD ALL HIS SHIT TO GET MORE OF WHATEVER THE FUCK HE'S ON.

I mean the fucking audacity. He used my snowboard boots that were packed in a box, broke one of my lamps, ripped every single box I had there open, had my fucking expired passport and student IDs and stuff laying on the floor of his closet. Didn't even try to cover his tracks.

I'm glad I left early. I really am. I don't usually get mad, but when I do, God help you.
