    I just did this. Bought a cheap used shell in good condition and then put the rest towards the truck loan. Almost there. No mods until she's paid off :ballchain:

    My interest rate is so low that it's really not worth giving them the money early. I think I'm only paying $350 total interest over he life of the loan.

    Same here although probably not quite that low of a rate, but our second vehicle is nearing its end so I don't want 2 car payments at the same time.

    I was looking at relentless for the flattened option. Or CBI because they are a quick trip up I-15, then I can go mtn biking in Pocatello or Jackson, WY on the way home.

    I used to be diligent about saving 25% or more of my gross income but life happens and I realized that I'd rather cut my retirement savings since there a distinct possibility that I'll never be digging into it and spend the money on things I enjoy now.

    I would invest it in restoring your flag pole. Sandblasting, rust proofing, rhino lining, & finally a new flag to celebrate your accomplishments.
