Scotty's Castle is closed but the road going by it is open and it takes you the North way in to the Race Track.

We live in Glendale, CA so for us we take those routes and go to the 14 to the 5 South.

I've never done 3N45. Where is it?

Cool, I used to live in Pasadena, so I'm sort of familiar with that route, but we would still typically take the 15 to the 210. 3N45 is a little bypass trail in the Cajon Pass. If you're heading south on the 15, it's off of the Oak Hill exit. It spits you out onto the 138 (the highway that takes you to Silverwood Lake) about 3 miles East from the 15. It only saves you like 6 miles of travel on the 15, but sometimes that's the worst 6 miles. Plus, it's just a nice trail.

Great pics! I'm assuming you put chains only on the rear? I would like to use them on the front as well but the current stock tire wheel config. won't allow it without rubbing the upper control arms.

I planned a nice trip up New Dixie Mine Road, spent hours finding and loading a KMZ over an aerial overlay but my brother in law decided to take us somewhere else because he knew the area. It was super boring and I'm never following him again. Super pissed we didn't do what I planned because we took my mom for mother's day.

    Whatever

I'm looking to get a weekend planned to visit a mine near 29 Palms. Is anyone interested?

It's only a mile or two from Highway 62 near 29 Palms. It's an easy mine to start exploring if you are new to it. There is a short, steep hike between the 4 horizontal passages. Large mill site with many small wood structures. You'll need a helmet or hard hat and flash lights.

PLEASE QUOTE THIS if you are interested. Or PM me.

Went to Hollister hills today. It was a fun day. My first time taking this new truck off roading. It did very good considering it is still a stock truck. Used crawl mode few times and it is an awsome feature! Hell... I even picked up my first trophy while I was there...really need to buy those sliders man
