Thanks, I appreciate the nice comments. I am having fun with all the mods. Just to comment on a post from a few days back, someone was bashing the third gens pretty bad and I don't remember anyone defending them. I have owned, and by the way I bought them all new, an 88, 90, which we still own, 92, 94, 97, 2001, 2006 Tundra, 2011 which I still drive every day, and the 16. Granted I have done a lot more to the 16, and I really liked all of my Tacoma's, also have some great memories of hunting trips and such out west from years past, but this 3rd gen is by far the best one I have owned! For what it's worth.

    None as of yet
I've never towed before the Tacoma so I can't compare it to others but it seems to tow it just fine. It is higher rpm on the highway at 65 (around 3k) which at first seemed odd to me but it's normal, it just stays down a gear. I get around 10mpg when towing.

Changed my oil @ 15K and found that when the dealer changed it @ the 10K service they cross threaded one of the skid plate bolts so now I need to get a new bolt and rethread....

What's the difference between the regular chrome tip? Aside from the TRD logo.

Not a big mod but something I do on all my vics and I love ease of access and how simple it is and keeps it accessible always for all your lighting and clubbing needs!

I like this.. and it seems less obvious than my T-Ball bat that just happens to have "fallen into position" at that exact same spot..
