The just didn't find the trails we found I guess... but there are for sure trails that we cannot go on lol.

    Woot

Lol we saw 1% of the trails when we went... every trail we went on was tight and I kissed the mirrors and a flare on some trees.

    Truth

You can't wheel with us in your truck til you get skids a lift sliders and tires if you wanna play with the big boys. The event next weekend is 225 for the weekend and is an overlanding/camping event.

Eh competition safety rules are all about liability. Like searbelts on all trails and parking lots and staying in vehicles and not filming. You run as much risk getting hit by the trucks ur filming or drowning in deep water or flipping on iff camber moments. Risk is different for everyones comfort zone.. we all take the ones we are fine with.

For me it means..seatbelt, stay in truck, dont film at bottoms of hills, staying away from. tow lines and get out if the hill looks fricking dangerous so I can collect insurance money if @stairgod get killed by trucks or winch ropes.

Absolutely right. It is about liability for all competitions. Whether it be motorcycle racing, off-road racing, bicycle racing, speedboat racing, downhill slalom. All of these sanctioned events require safety equipment.

But there is a reason for that... To be safe.

Which is why outside of these competitions, people are given a choice. Wear a helmet or don't wear a helmet. Use safety equipment... Don't use safety equipment.

I choose personal safety and the safety of others around me.

My original post was to bring out the fact that the people on the posted recovery video had a choice.

If I had any fucks left about body damage, I left it on that tree. If I had any artistic talent, I would paint a Band-Aid over the dent!

There have been convos between some of us to make certain requirements. Ie tire size, lockers, winch, and of course skids and sliders. Inevitably we find ourselves in situations on trails where we end up having issues or the high probability of an issue because of some under equipped rigs. Or maybe we are just looking to do trails that are way too hard...lol.

Have the skids. Have the bumper. Have the winch. Sliders next week. Tires in 3 weeks.

Now with tires. I have 265/17. If I goto 285/17 will I need spacers (Front and rear or just front) if I do can I use spidertrax 1.25?

I do not think you will need spacers for 285s. Best check with the third gen guys for that though.
