Looks like you've nailed it so far as far as the ultimate tail light is concerned. I'm enjoying watching the build and I look forward to seeing what the final product will be.

 

Cmon Stew- let's get these out before 4thGen...

 

did you print that yourself or did you source it for somewhere else? i want to put switchbacks in the reverse slot, and have been looking for this.

Slowly but surely. I work on them when I feel like it. No deadline to meet, no "pre-paid" customers hounding me. (I know; not the right way to run a business)...but I'm not a store, just a hobbyist. The $$$ is secondary & just frosting on the cake, I get the real enjoyment out of grinding, fabricating, and lighting up the night like daytime! They will be ready when I post "ready to buy"

NO JOKE these are some of the brightest Turn signals I have made. Add to that the factory diffuser that is built into the OEM clear lens, and it's got crazy intensity. I will probably need to put them on a PWM to dim at night because it's ridiculous.


I'm bringing AMBER BACK-- like the GEN1 Tacos
(but more importantly to mask/tone down the white LED strips)

MMMmm 250Leds per turn signal = 500. Add that to the 400 (200ea X2) in my brake lights + side raptor glow and I'm over 1,000 LEDS TOTAL TAIL LIGHTS.sweet Jesus..


I might frost the inside of the Amber plexiglass for a smoother look...

I think frosting the turns would help them. These things are looking awesome

This project has been a long process and a lot of trial/error. Depo's aren't even in the same class.
No need for a dremel.. they will come ready to plug in! What kind of video you want?

 

even better...it's late in the day and my eyes are starting to see double, forgive me. Plug and play are just fine. Those lights are pure sex.

I guess this beauty will have to wait...
