That has got to be a much younger shot of him. Last time I saw, he looked rougher than the seats of an 87 Chrysler LeBaron!

I'm doing the doors next along with 8" woofers, 3.5" mids and 1" tweeters (3-way active). Still trying to decide wether to put it all in the doors or put the 1" and 3.5" in the pillars. I'm pretty certain pillars will sound the best so I'm leaning in that direction.

Nice. You going to run your deck In Network Mode? Aren't the pillars kind of close for a level soundstage? Why not the kick panels?

You have to specify that you have a stock deck. There is where the challenge is.

I have an Audio Control DM-810 for processing duties.

IMHO, in this truck kick panels don't make sense. The driver side would get blocked by my legs. The parking brake lever is in the way. From a day to day perspective I'm sure I'd destroy the driver side one with my foot.

If I don't do pillars, I'll put the 3" in the factory tweeter spot and make pods for the tweeters to go in the sail panel trims by the side mirrors.

Good reasons. I always thought it strange they put the automatic parking brake there while the manuals used the old pull rod parking brakes.

I am sure you will post when you have completed it. Love to see it completed.
