I have a 2009 Double Cab Long bed Sport....I have been thinking about doing this swap out and going with the 2015 TRD pro look. I am a little intimidated by it though, not even going to lie about that haha.

Meh, mine got whacked so it was a little harder as I had a little debridement to do but it's not rocket surgery, with proper (non water based) paint, and my LED TRS upgrade with the pro grille, I'm like 1700 in, biggest pain is waiting for shipping and paint.

    Hey!

So i'm looking to grab a 12-15 Pelfrey bumper. What all parts-wise did you need? Hood, lights, grille and the mounting brackets for the lights? I'm seeing a few different answers in this post.

You need everything for the conversion except the factory bumper and crash bar and bumper mounting brackets.

I have ordered a white hood, paint matched grill, and bumper off of a 2015. I'm noticing that the super white form the newer truck is a lot whiter than my 2005, did you notice a big difference in paint colors. My 2005 has always been garaged, cleaned almost weekly, I'm just not sure how there is such a noticeable discrepancy in paint?

My hood is also very white compared to the factory paint but it's normal. Your paint will rarely perfectly match. Best bet is to either do a full detail on your truck (buff and seal) which is what I will be doing next week or blend the hood into your fenders so it all matches.
